Brief Introduction

 

The most common types of chemical pumps are centrifugal pumps which moves fluid by a creating a vacuum using a rotating impeller.

Chemical pumps available in Centrifugal, Sealed and Magnetic along with positive displacement Gear and Diaphragm pumps. Also available are chemical Drum pumps, injection Metering and Hand operated.

Our pumps are cntrifugal, electric motor driven chemcial process pump.They have the following features:

  • The volute casing or chamber is where the impeller sits inside. Often the discharge and suction parts are moulded (cast) or connected to the volute in some way. Inside you will find where the impeller sits. WD-series industrial chemical pump adopts radial split, rear door, single stage single suction volute structure.
  • Centrifugal pump designs also play a big part in how it will perform. There are very many centrifugal pump designs all created to suit various needs. You should note that the designs vary with different models such as horizontal multistage pumps, double suction pumps, regenerative pumps, self-priming pumps etc. The following is needed to design the pump:

1. Medium(Fluid being pumped)
2. Capacity/flow
3. Discharge pressure or head (this takes into account the pipe size and length)
4. If you know how to read centrifugal pump curves, it will be better.
